12.5 Social Media

Celia Popovic

Social media provides a valuable opportunity to connect with others in the profession, and to keep up to date with developments. It can also be overwhelming and time consuming.

On this page you will find a collation of links in various platforms. I don't suggest you follow all of them, but they may be helpful to give you some ideas. Please add suggestions in the comments below of links you think others may find helpful.

Twitter

Many organizations have a presence on Twitter, follow them to see their posts. Use the # (hashtag) to see, and contribute to, tweets on a particular topic, for example a tweet that says:" #lthechat hello world" - will be found by anyone looking for that topic by entering the #lthechat into the search bar in Twitter.
